After removing the clutch plate both snap rings were visible so I took the closest one off first. Then removed the serpentine belt. The bearing failed,causing a very loud noise when the compressor is not engaged.

Your basically jumping the compressor to see if it comes on. If there is an extra connector then the Compressor is more than likely from another car like an Altima. Overall since this was pretty new territory for me I am not surprised it took close to 2 hours. The clutch is working fine when ac is on. Mine had a bolt already instead of an Allen wrench so I just used a 10mm socket and a pair of tongue and groove pliers to hold the clutch to get it off.

I spent about a half hour trying to figure out how to get the second snap ring off but it turns out I did not need too. I could put one up of the Clutch coil if wanted.
