The sensor operates using a bluetooth analyzer sending data directly to your phone. When I did the air filter the date stamp on the filter was about a month before the car was built! In order to replace the fuel pump, the left side fuel unit has to be removed. Move to the right side of the vehicle. This is easier to locate than on most cars. My car had fsh when I bought it with 150000 miles on the clock and the engine breather filter had never been changed! I would be checking the dpf filter as that gives off a light colour smoke when trying to regen and if it can't regen that is where the fuel is getting in oil , modern diesels need to have long runs quite oftern driving around town blocks up dpf in the exhaust the car try's to regen using extra fuel to get it up to temp to burn off the soot inside it prob not running long enough to do it. Once the sending unit float clears the tank opening, feed the fuel lines out of the tank red arrow.
When I attempt to accelerate quickly the car begins to surge and sputter, and the engine light comes on. Anyone else run into this? Do not use incandescent work lights or power tools. Sounds like an engine misfire. It will be full of fuel and some will leak. Once you have the panel down, you'll see the filter. Be sure to replace the panel gasket if it is damaged.
